Golf Destination
Coastal golf meets Big Five safari
KwaZulu-Natal combines coastal golf, warm Indian Ocean weather and Big Five safari in the north of the province. It is a good choice for travellers looking for a relaxed golf tour with time for the beach, game drives and the varied landscapes of the Drakensberg.
April to September generally offers the most comfortable conditions for golf and safari, with lower humidity and less rainfall along the coast. Temperatures remain mild, although mornings and evenings can be cooler in the Drakensberg. From October to March, KwaZulu-Natal is warmer and more humid, with afternoon showers and thunderstorms more common during the summer months. Golf and safari are possible throughout the year, depending on your preferred weather and overall itinerary.
